About This Font
The Kenyan Coffee family has been expanded and improved. The original accents were too low and too light; the new accents are balanced and more languages are supported. More math symbols and punctuation have been added. OpenType fractions and numerical ordinals have been added. The original pentagonal bullet has been replaced with a more conventional super-elliptical shape. The numeral 4 has been changed to make it harmonize better with the other numerals.

The pentagon bullet and original numeral 4 can be accessed in OpenType savvy applications using the Stylistic Alternates feature. The new Indian Rupee symbol (Unicode 20B9) is included. Vertical metrics have been altered to allow for taller accents and cross-browser compatibility.

The overall style has changed to something which represents something closer to my original vision for Kenyan Coffee. Kenyan Coffee Regular, Italic, Bold & Bold Italic are still free for commercial use. Ultra-Light, Extra-Light, Light, Book, Semi-Bold + Italic styles are now available for purchase.
About Typodermic
Originally a Canadian company, Typodermic Fonts was established in 2001 by Ray Larabie to provide high-quality font families for industrial and consumer needs. As a sole proprietorship, Typodermic Fonts maintains a low overhead that allows it to stay nimble and flexible. Customer satisfaction is at the top of its priorities, right next to creating the highest quality products for the lowest prices. Typodermic Fonts recently moved its headquarters to Nagoya, Japan. Ray Larabie has a long established record as an independent font designer and has been publishing his fonts since 1996. He first started creating fonts as a child when his grandmother gave him sheets of dry transfer lettering. Designing typefaces with pen and paper, and later on his first computer, a TRS-80, Ray is now well known in the font design business having personally created over 1100 fonts in over 480 font families. The library continues to grow. Before Typodermic Fonts, Ray launched Larabie Fonts in 1996 to distribute his original collection of 250 fonts as Freeware. Ray has long been involved with independent font business and will be for years to come.
